Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This place is a hidden gem. Does not feel like a hostel, feels like a home stay. It is basically a home with a large kitchen, a few rooms and an open living space. The house is on a green space with a pool in the back. It is beautiful, quaint and homey. The room was spacious, quiet and nicely set up. Bed is comfy with clean warm sheets, and it's beautifully green looking out the window. The property is set against the street, but it is very quiet and peaceful. Great kitchen space, we would have cooked a five course meal there if we had the time. We felt very comfortable, chatted with the owner, it was super nice and we would stay longer or come again happily.

Negative: We loved everything. If you are a clean freak, you might be unhappy, there is a little dust and spider webs in the corners, but it did not bother us at all. Watch out when you try to find it, google and booking show the wrong spot on the map, so we had some problems. It's a big red gate across the street from the restaurant la Viquita Echa (cow face on sign).

Summary: feels like home...because it basically is.
