Summary: If you like staying in huts or cabins and have extra days near El Chalten it is worth the trip up to Laguna Condor. The property has 8 tiny cabins and a central lodge. You can hike, bike, and kayak nearby and away of the bustling crowds on the popular El Chalten hikes. Fitz Roy Expeditions is associated with the lodge and can arrange more excursions. If you like a semi rustic experience you will enjoy it here. Friendly staff and good food. Make sure to soak in the wood fired hot tub and have a jump in the river. Serene place. We were the only guests on the property in late November (which is still considered early season) and loved it.
