Escarabajo Hostel is the ideal place for people looking to explore everything ValparaÃso has to offer and relax in a pleasant atmosphere. We make this possible by offering comfortable rooms, as well as excellent common areas in an environment full of art and good energy.
Escarabajo Hostel is located in Cerro Bellavista, one of the beautiful hills of ValparaÃso, near the city center and surrounded by attractions such as traditional bars, cultural centers, restaurants, an open-air museum of street art, and a short distance from one of Pablo Neruda's famous houses, La Sebastiana. The hostel is easily accessible on foot, by colectivo (shared taxi), or by bus.
We have double rooms with private bathrooms fully equipped with hot water, TV, WiFi, towels, hairdryer, and other amenities.
Check-in: from 14:00 to 21:00 (Flexible according to availability and prior coordination).
Check-out: before 11:00 (Flexible according to availability and prior coordination).
Since we do not have constant staff on the property, it is necessary to confirm your arrival time at least 2 hours in advance by email or WhatsApp. Contact details will be provided in the confirmation sent by Hostelworld after booking. This is of utmost importance, as otherwise, you will not receive the keys and will not be able to access the hostel.

If you wish to benefit from the tax exemption for foreign tourists (tax-free rates), it is only possible by presenting the immigration document with an entry to the country less than 59 days old.
