Positive: The property has beautiful grounds and a very lovely garden. The outdoor areas are clearly well cared for and create a peaceful, pleasant atmosphere. The pool area in particular is a nice place to relax.

Negative: Inside, however, our room felt somewhat run down and could use maintenance and updating to match the quality of the surroundings. Also, we spotted a mouse in the kitchen. What left us with a negative impression was the handling of check-out and property rules. When we arrived, we were given a set of property rules, which did not mention any charges for staying on the premises after check-out. As our flight was three hours after check-out time, we asked the day before departure if it would be possible to sit by the pool during that time. Instead of a simple yes/no, we were sent “new terms of use – important,” with an added line stating there is a USD 30 per person charge to remain on the property after check-out, accompanied by the message “Good morning, New rules 👆🏻”. Introducing new charges in this way, after we had already checked in and received the original rules, felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. We would have appreciated clear communication upfront or a more considerate way of handling the request. Overall, the outdoor setting is lovely, but the condition of the interior and the way this situation was managed detracted from the experience.
