Just like Jurerê Tradicional beach, Jurerê Internacional is located in the Jurerê neighborhood, between Canavieiras and Forte beaches, in the north of Florianópolis Island. At the time, the beaches of Jurerê Tradicional and Internacional were part of Praia do Forte and only separated after a group, who saw a lot of potential in the place, invested heavily and “created” the beach, which later officially became the neighborhood of Jurerê (curiously, it was the name of the real estate agency that sold the lots in the region at the time, in the 1950s).
